Don’t blame this on Craigslist. If you read this forum regularly you’ll know that I never recommend threesomes because they always lead to emotional pain. Your story is no exception. Someone always, always, always gets hurt. Threesomes don’t work because the emotional relationships between the three people is always unequal. Someone always likes someone else more they thought they would or someone always starts to see the third person privately. And that’s just for starters.
My suggestion is to dump (read: run!) this boyfriend and find someone else. He’s begging to have you back because you agreed to have a threesome and then did the work of finding the woman to do so that he cheated on you with. He’s hoping you’ll find him someone else for him now since this last one didn’t work out. I wouldn’t trust him.
