Sorry I mixed the ages up, but the principles still stand. A man who lives with his mother and doesn’t have a job at 31 isn’t as “ready” to be in a relationship as a man who has his own place and his own job or career from which he derives not just income, but a sense of self esteem and a place in the world — which is important to men in a different way than it is to women! 😉
