You should not tell your ex-boyfriend that you kissed another guy because, frankly, if you’re not together any more, it’s none of his business. 😯 Telling him would just incite negative feelings, and because you wrote that you have a history that is “violent and devastating” with him, it’s time to start moving away from him. This break up is a good step. 😀
