There is no short cut to moving on, but there are steps you can take to move in the right direction. Each day do something new. Try a new coffee shop. Invite someone new to join you for a drink after work. Pick a new exercise class or take up a new sport.
Stay busy by making dates with family and friends. Give yourself loads of maintenance attention — haircuts, color, manicures, a closet clean out, repair your clothes that need repairs, etc.
In other words, keep busy and interested by offering yourself interesting new things to do. Host parties at your house and invite new people — or invite your trusted friends and family to invite new people to expand your social circle. This WILL work. Try it!
