I’m sorry you’re hurt. Rejection stings, but the truth is that it’s a lot better in the big picture, to know that someone is not available to be your girlfriend, so that you can move on and not have contact — otherwise she’s going to keep breaking your heart over and over every time you think you have a chance even though she’s told you she’s not interested in more than just friends. 😳
So if you don’t spend time with her and you don’t talk to her on the phone or by instant message or online, you’re going to get over her a lot sooner than if you do. Another way to get over a heartbreak is to stay busy! Make new friends. Try a new sport or hobby. Sitting around is going to just give you time to have a pity party. 🙁 Getting out and being active is going to give you a new lease on life. 😀
