If you stop talking to him then you probably will lose interest in him — which is a good thing since you’re living with your parents, so that relationship has to trump your dating life. 😕

Make your dating life more important by not settling for Mr. RIght Now. But in order to find Mr. Right, you have to get your own life in order. It’s really great that you’re studying to be an emergency medical technician, and with a career underway, it’s time for you to start looking for your own apartment, too! You can have female roommates if you need to share the rent, or not, if you can afford the rent on your own.

Once you’re living on your own, your relationship with your parents won’t be so intimate. They won’t be overseeing every date or relationship you have because you’ll be out of their house.

So for now, my advice is to stop talking to him, and just date people who won’t drive you to drink everyday because your parents don’t like them! 😮 When you get your own life together and have your own place, then you can experiment more with men who are in their mid to late twenties.

I hope that helps. Let me know how things go, and please follow me @AskAprilcom on Twitter and on Facebook at this link: . 😀
