It sounds like either you’re not ready to get married or else the two of you are not compatible. Whether or not you love each other, if he talks [i]at[/i] you instead of [i]to[/i] you, you’re going to have problems being intimate. Someone who talks at you isn’t listening to you — and doesn’t care to. Maybe this is the way his family has done things, but clearly you’re not happy about this — but instead of behaving rationally, it sounds like you’re acting out. 😮 I don’t think, from what you’ve written, that the two of you are going to have an easy go of things. Re-think the engagement. 😕
