I need your help on whether or not she likes me (both are 17) signs she likes me: when i talk to her it is brief (about 30 seconds or so when I just ask a question) she is usually smiling at me. One time when I talked to her she came towards me (walked from her locker 4-5 down to mine) and smiled after she answered the question but I may have been nervous talking to her.
– She asked me how I felt after I was sick at a party, about 3 guys did but she was the only girl to do so.
– One time I saw her friend (who has a bf) smiling as I walked up to my locker, and she was in between me and the girl I like
– Her friend and her were talking about me when I got to my locker, but then things got quiet
– At the party one of her friends was grinding me, another asked for a high five and one girl said hi to me at the hallways in school.
-When she asked me how I was feeling she was joking and using a lot of s and asking how I felt, how I got home, etc. and although I know her we don’t talk much.
– She pays attention to what I talk about.
Signs she doesn’t: Her friends haven’t been as friendly around me since after the party.
-She caught me staring for maybe 15-20 seconds and when I looked back 30 seconds or a minute later I saw her giving the sideways thumb (but I think this was about something else)
– I looked at her and said hello when I saw her at our lockers, she didn’t say anything and left about 15 seconds later, was she just in a rush or was she totally blowing me off? This happened again today and another time but I’m not sure if she didn’t hear me because I mumble and she is a nice girl so I doubt she’d blow me off.
– She doesn’t initiate the conversation.
Note that she is very shy (most of her friends are girls and a friend of mine described her as shy). Also I keep the chat bar open on facebook so I can see when my friends log on, I’ve noticed she is usually on for 1-2 min but she talked to me for 10 minutes at least. So do you think she likes me? Thanks for your help.
Also we have made eye contact a few times, I though I once saw her looking at me out of the corner of my eye at lunch. We also made eye contact one time and I looked away after about a second and shortly afterwards she lifted up her arm to her sleeve and coughed or yawned into it. Btw what does the thumb mean? Was it about something completely different, and why was she ignoring me because she ignored me on monday but on the Friday before that I asked her a question and she was smiling when answering. We also don’t talk much and I don’t want to seem annoying by talking to her a lot on facebook. We haven’t talked much since the whole incident with her catching me looking at her but I did ask her about the homework once after that and she was still smiling at me when she did it. Why would she ignore me if I said hi, also she responds to me when I talk to her in facebook chat, why would she ignore me in person and not online because I’ve had people completely ignore me before like not even giving an answer. Please help me understand what this all means. What percent would you give that she likes me? Also the past three days I think I have seen her looking at me as I walk past her towards my locker.
