I have a question.
There is this guy i like and he likes me 2. For 3 years now. “
He said last night that we are the definition of an emotional relationship.
and today we were in a discussion and i said nevermind and he said back that there is no “nevermind” or “whatever” in this relationship. So he said the word relationship again.

So my question is does that means that we are in a relationship now?
I dont know if maybe i didnt get clue or something, but i dont want to ask him because i think it will look stupid orso.

You [i]are[/i] in a relationship, but it’s a long distance relationship without dating so he sees it as just an emotional relationship. I think you’re using the word relationship to mean a committed, romantic relationship, and he’s being very literal in his definition of it. He’s probably dating other women in real life or having other long distance relationships, and doesn’t want to mislead you into thinking this is something that resembles a “real life” romantic relationship.
