It really depends on the guy. If this guy is chronically lazy, then he’s giving you a hint that you may want to look out for. On the other hand, he may be a superstar in the banking world and is super busy and is going to look to whatever woman is in his life to make these dates for him. Not necessarily a deal breaker. He may also be testing you to find out what your idea of a first date place is.
My advice is to meet him halfway. Tell him you love the xxxxx place (pick something nice, sophisticated and fancy), and that you’d love it if he’d take you there for a first date. See what he says!
