Ahhh no worries! The last few months have been very busy on this end and I work a lot of hours! Too much probably! Lol…. I haven’t really ran across anyone on here who has been, well, normal enough to hold a conversation or not ask me crazy off the wall questions….lol so its nice to see a normal guy! I work nights and signed up to kill time and not try to fall asleep so I didn’t have expectations to really meet anyone

Well, believe it or not I work corrections… I have been in the law field fir about 11 years now. I also am up late and work pm shifts so used to the all nighters…. lol… and, I work weekend 12 hr shifts so in pretty much all screwed up time wise…lol.

lol I use to work on the ambulance on 24 to 72 hour shifts I know how they are. Even though I am not currently working in the emergency field my sleep cycle is all screwed up. lol. I am J by the way. But you don’t look like the type of person that would work in corrections. lol no offence to you.

So how did you get into corrections? So what do you like to do for fun? when you get the time. lol I do a lot of things. I like to work on cars, play with my kids, watch movies, dance, shot at the range, and build things. Right now I am working on my 1973 dodge dart. do you know anything about cars?

Ok so I asked her out to coffee and she almost couldn’t go something about her nieces birthday party she forgot about. Then I guess it got canceled so she texted me back asking if I would meet her for drinks and we met up. She seemed like she was into me we held conversation for about 3 and a half hours we have so much incoming and enjoy almost all the same things. After what seemed like 30 min. but was really about 3 hours I walked her out to her car and she gave me hug good buy and said this week we should go play pool. About 2-3hours later she texted me back saying she had a great time and sorry she was so nervous. But she was glad I was able to keep good conversation and I was very entertaining. I tried texting her throughout the Thanksgiving weekend with a response every once in a while in one text she was saying how she really needs to take me up on my offer of personal training her n the gym cause she needs to work off all the good thanksgiving food. And I know 4 of those days she works shift work grave yard 10-16hour shift. I just would text her once everyday just to see how she was. Then finally got a response today which is her Saturday,11-29-11, saying sorry she was busy all day and how was I. I responded good and said that I would love to take her up on the pool game and have not heard from her since. I don’t know if something scared her off, I don’t know if she is just not interested any more, or if she is too busy and too tired to get back to me. You have to understand that I am guys that if I say something I always follow through. So I am kind of confused… What’s going on? What should I do next?

This whole thread feels like a slow-burn holiday rom-com that forgot to leave the texting stage . Months of great vibes, jokes, flirting, coffee almost-happened, drinks did happen… and still everyone’s stuck refreshing messages like it’s Christmas morning waiting for a gift.

Honestly, April kept it simple for a reason: stop overthinking and ask her out. Less texting, more face time. If it’s meant to turn into something real, it won’t be built on late-night chats between shifts and holidays. And if it fizzles? Better to know before New Year’s than carry confusion into another year.
