I was browsing through Home Depot today trying to find a summer project. I walk by a worker and he asks if he can help me and I gave a smile and replied “No thank you, I’m just looking”. Well, I end up walking by him again and he says, “You look like you’re looking for something. You should let me help you.” I caved and told him I was looking for a summer project and he starts going off about building things. Before I know it he is leading me to a built in outdoor grill. Stupidly, I gush about what a great idea that is. For the record, I’m a college student and my summer project budget is small. He tells me he’ll help me build it. I tell him I want to look up some details about it first, and he says ok and to come back and see him.

He’s cute. I would not mind seeing him again. and again. and again. But, I don’t want to drop thousands of dollars on the first date :p How can I see him again??

Don’t build a summer project you can’t afford! 😮 That’s the worst possible way for you to find out if this guy is even interested! My advice is to go back to the store and tell him your real budget, give him your phone number and tell him that if he finds a project that he thinks will work for you, to call you.

You should also read Think & Date Like A Man, so you understand what a man wants and how to get him! You can buy the book on Amazon or Barnes & Noble’s websites or you can download it here: https://www.askapril.com/relationship-dating-advice/think-and-date-like-a-man.html.

    I hope that helps!
