    Hey,

I just recently had a blind date and everything went amazing. We had dinner and talked constantly, then he asked if I wanted to go on a walk, dessert later on at a dessert shop down the road and then another walk. The date lasted from 6:30pm to 10:30pm! The whole time we were laughing, telling stories, and discovered we had sooo much in common that it was mind blowing.

At the end when saying bye, he asked if I wanted to meet up with him 2 days later and so the next date was agreed. The next 2 days, I waited for the phone call that would set the time, but it never came. Now 4 days have gone by and I haven’t heard anything from him.

What happened? Did I do something wrong?

It doesn’t sound like you did anything at all wrong! In fact it sounds like something’s going on with him and it’s either sudden busyness in his own life, or else he decided he doesn’t want a second date; or else he’s just someone who says he’ll call you in two days and forgets or means seven days (or whatever number he actually means) or else he’s a total flake.

Regardless, the bottom line is that he didn’t call. Your job is to continue to have a great life without being dependent on a guy you’ve had a single date with. If he does call and you do go out again, watch and learn — that’s what dating is about. If he continues to do this and you realize he’s just flakey with date, but great in other way, try to encourage him with sugar by letting him know how great it is when he can you let know what your plans together are and then sticks to them. Reward him for doing so.

I hope that helps. Please let me know how things go, and follow me @AskAprilcom on Twitter. 😀
