I have been dating this guy for 3 months. We were very close, called and text everyday and did things together. He even told me he loved me and asked me where I had been all his life. Right before Thanksgiving he left to go to his hometown to see his kids ages 10 and 5. He left me a lovely message the day he left saying that he loved me and was looking forward to our relationship growing. He was to return Thursday and spend Thanksgiving with me. I text him twice and called once why he was gone and no response. He never showed for Thanksgiving and never called. It has been a week and I haven’t heard from him. I am totally confused. Why would he just disappear?

The first thing I’d be worried about if I were you is if he’s okay. 😕 Call a mutual friend or a relative to make sure he isn’t sick, hasn’t gotten appendicitis or something like that, or had a car accident. It seems odd that he would disappear the way you mention.

If he’s not fallen ill or had an accident, then he’s a really bad boyfriend to RSVP to Thanksgiving and not show up with no explanation! 🙁 If this latter scenario is what you find out has happened, he has a LOT of explaining to do, but before you jump to this conclusion, make sure he’s okay.
